Junior Varsity and Varsity

Making the team

Anyone interested in participating in off-season practices should notify Coach Pinson prior to June 1st. Tryouts will be held the first week of August. Once both Varsity & Junior Varsity teams are set, the season begins immediately thereafter and concludes mid-October.

Practice

Practice is held at several different Golf Clubs around Columbus after school on non-competition days.

Annual Activities of the Golf Team

  • Volunteering at Fish Fries at St. Matthew’s and other fundraising events to earn money for the Team throughout the year.

  • Voluntary practices and conditioning during summer months.

  • Meet for breakfast before Invitational’s

  • Team Pizza after most Invitational’s

  • Team Dinners at Coach’s house

  • Offseason/Winter indoor training sessions

  • Golf Team Mass at school

  • Parent / Player golf outing

  • End of Season Banquet
