2012 SEASON QUICK FACTS

• The Stallions captured their second straight Division-II State Championship and the program's third overall

• The team set a DeSales record for most wins in a season (29)

• DeSales won their 3rd straight CCL Championship

• TJ Alas finished his career 21-0 as a pitcher, which ranked 6th all-time in Ohio history for most wins in a row

• Alas led the team with a .451 batting average and set school-records with 21 doubles and 51 hits

• Zak DeCamp led the team with 40 RBI, which was the 3rd highest total in DeSales history

• DeCamp also hit 6 home runs, which tied him for 2nd-most in a single season in program history

"Different year.... same great group of kids!  We were on a mission to prove that 2011 was no fluke.  Ranked as high as 3rd in the State while setting a school record for wins in a season, the Stallions repeated as State Champions.  We were 1 year older and it showed as we approached games with a very business-like mentality out to prove all of our critics wrong.  Pitching and defense proved to be the backbone of this team as we only gave up 10 runs in the tournament with 7 of those being score by Bellfontaine in the Regional Semi Final.  Back to Back State Champs!!"
